Turning a New Leaf in Week 2
As stated in my title, the Rams won against the Falcons in what should have been a blowout. Unfortunately, the game was unnecessarily close in classic Rams fashion. With a twenty-one-point lead going into the fourth quarter, the Rams managed to win the game with a score of 31-27. Cooper Kupp had a great game with 11 catches and 108 yards with two touchdowns. After Tremayne Anchrum Jr. hurt his ankle on the second play, he had to be carted off in the first quarter. Luckily the Rams replaced him with A.J. Jackson, and he exceeded expectations. Fortunately for the Rams, they started the game strong by stopping the Falcons on the opening drive due to the former Seahawk, Bobby Wagner. Speaking of newly acquired players making a difference, wide receiver Allen Robinson had his first touchdown as a Ram.
